Omnis Health Releases EmbraceEVO Meter

Omnis Health is making it easier – and more affordable – for those with diabetes to stay on top of their blood glucose testing.

The Nashville-based company – which provides diabetes monitoring systems – launched its new EmbraceEVO blood glucose meter last month. The meter has a compact design, but more importantly comes in an all-in-one starter kit that includes not only the meter, but also 50 test strips, 50 lancets and a lancing device. After purchasing the EmbraceEVO kit, test strips are expected to be available for less than $10 for a box of 50, making them among the most affordable on the market right now.

The meter stores up to 300 test results with both date and time, allowing users to track their results over a 7, 14 or 30-day period, allowing them to track when they might consistently have highs or lows and better determine what might trigger them.

It also has a data port, allowing you to link to applications on your computer to better evaluate your results, including with your health care provider.

The strips use Omnis Health’s Instant Three Step Verification technology that provides accurate results in only six seconds.
