Allied Domecq Spirits and Kahlua recently announced a licensing agreement with Seattle-based Da Vinci Gourmet, the maker of flavored syrups and sauces for specialty coffee and tea drinks and sodas.
The agreement will permit Da Vinci to produce KahlÃºa-flavored syrups without the alcohol. As part of the agreement, Da Vinci will also be launching Kahlua-flavored sauces later this year. Da Vinci will offer both classic and sugar-free versions of the syrups, which will be available at specialty coffee outlets around the world and at retail grocers throughout the United States.
