New CVS Smartphone App Helps Manage Diabetes on the Go

The CVS Mobile app from CVS/pharmacy is a unique new interactive smartphone app that provides users with numerous personalized ways to both manage their healthcare and handle drugstore needs.

Using the app, people with diabetes and their caregivers can opt in to the CVS ExtraCare Advantage for Diabetes program, which offers savings on many products used to manage the condition. These include testing supplies, glucose test strips and glucose meters, as well as special offers and discounts on receipts and in stores. 

Among the ECAD offerings on the app, which is available for free, is access to Enhanced Prescription Management that enables customers to quickly scroll through all their prescriptions, schedule medication refills, and see information on prescriptions ready for pick-up.
