Animas Lights Up A New Insulin Pump
Animas 2020 Insulin Pump
Animas has just introduced its fifth generation insulin pump, the 2020. Especially for those without 20/20 vision, it comes with a self-illuminating, high contrast color screen that uses Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) technology.
It’s the smallest full-featured pump on the market, says Animas, and waterproof to twelve feet for 24 hours. Moreover, it allows for insulin dosage adjustments down to 0.025 units per hour, has a 500-food database, and can store glucose and carbohydrate values.
