Death Risks in African-American Type 1s Called ‘Modifiable’

Researchers found

In African-Americans with type 1, researchers found that the most prevalent risk factors for dying were all modifiable. These risk factors include microproteinuria, hypertension, macroangiopathy and heavy alcohol consumption.
