The pre diabetes stage also entails a special Pre diabetic diet This would help prevent Diabetes and its symptoms. Watching what we eat and taking control of our lifestyle can definitely prevent from moving up to the next stage of diabetes.

Hello,

I've recently been getting some odd eye symptoms from not being able to gather information from a focused area instantly, feeling the equivalent of human noise in my vision (think of tv white noise, put that in your vision, it's sort of like that), light sensitivity. Foreign body feeling around my eyes and forehead.

My doctors keep telling me an uncontrolled diabetes can influence my eyesight, but i feel that they have no idea what they're talking about. I've been checked by an opthalmologist and apparently it's not retinopathy or macular edema(i'm having an ocular angiography either way).

So let's just assume everything is fine as in no ocular disease has been developped. Could an uncontrolled diabetes, by itself, cause my vision to deteriorate?

Yes diabetes can lead to eye problems, here are the causes of diabetic vision problems you can read thru that and find which one you are particularly experiencing and try to find a method to ease and prevent it. hope this helps!
