I have been reading up on the Duodenal Switch surgery

According to an article in "Diabetes Health" June 10, 2009

in the article:

Duodenal Switch Surgery Better Against Type 2 Diabetes Than Gastric Bypass

diabetes was cured in 100% of those having the Duodenal Switch Surgery.

The original 2006 paper this article was based on said:

"The resolution of diabetes occurred in 84% versus 99%, hyperlipidemia in 97% versus 99%, hypertension 68% versus 83%, and obstructive sleep apnea 80% versus 92%, respectively."
