My child was just recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. He is 12 years old and is currently taking Metformin. I am interested in more information about this study, but I don't know if his medication will allow him to be in the study. Also, do you have to travel for the study? We live in San Diego, CA and don't want to travel out of state. Can you let me know how long the study might be and what may be expected of my child?
