I use a combination of medication (Gabapentin and Tramadol), supplements (R-Alpha Lipoic Acid, Benfotiamine and Evening Primrose Oil) and technology (http://www.rebuildermedical.com).

Disclosure: I have no financial interests in the Rebuilder.

For me I found a different combination works.

Stress B complex with biotin and Chromium Picolinate to bring my levels down.
wehn i was Type 2 I found that orals and diet just didnt work. When i finally turned Type 1 I went on vitamins, insulin and exercise my neuropathy alleviated to just a flareup every now and then. And now I can tell when for what ever reason my BGs are high, neuropathy acts up.

I did a clicnical study( participated and help to conduct) on Chromium and positive glucose outcomes and it helped with many of teh pateinst I was assigned. You may consider giving that a try. I never found the oils to be of benefit. But thats just me.

Have you conisidered changing insulin? or when you sense a spike in nuropathy testing and then taking a small  bolus?
