removal of pancreas and brittle diabetes

I had a Whipple procedure for pancreatic cancer in November 2006. The cancer appears to have returned to the tail of the pancreas. The cancer is not evident anywhere else. The tumor board wants to remove the pancreas? What does that mean for me- will I be able to manage the brittle diabetes? Posted on December 7, 2008 15:01 Reply with Quote
