Carb Cards LLC of Montrose, Colorado, has introduced its 21/2 x 31/2 flash cards designed to help children and adults with diabetes.

The Carb Cards teach people how to count the amount of carbohydrates they are consuming in the foods they eat.

Each sheet has an image and name of a type of food on it, along with the carbohydrate count for the item. Users can combine the cards to build food pyramids and create daily menus to manage their diets. The package comes with 54 food cards, six blank cards, four crayons and an activity card.
